I am a self-taught photographer. For now, my work is centered around portraiture, music, and moments noticed while traveling. My photography is, in part, informed by 40 years as a professional musician. The gradual transition from creating sound to creating visuals feels like a natural blending of disciplines - each one has always been present, only the focus, and therefore the result, has shifted.
I am originally from the dusty, country western and mariachi infused streets of Bakersfield, California. I currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I want to thank all my collaborators, willing and unwilling, who appear in my photographs.
